It's hard to write what I would consider to be a balanced review about \The Castle\, because I think it's excellent in most respects. We travelled in the time of Coronavirus and social distancing was possible. The food was delicious. Okay, you could find fancier pubs, but I wouldn't want one. This will serve you delicious food just a few steps from the sea (at high tide). What more could you want? If I had to criticise then I'd say they could offer more local produce. But this isn't an expensive seafood restaurant, it's a pub. And a lovely one.

Absolutely amazing... huge round of applause My first time visiting and I'm very impressed.. My son and daughter in law work here and we felt very welcome.. such polite staff and food was amazing. Such a friendly area... highly recommend
We've booked a table in the pub, wasnt as clean as I would like but it's ok. We've ordered sirloin steak for dinner and food was really nice, steak was cooked perfectly. Other than that, it was average as we left straight after main.. the online menu wasn't available and the menu was small with only a few options and nothing special from it.
Have had the two most exquisite battered fish experiences ever. The first time I had the cod in batter I thought I was going to have to chase it around the room !!!! It was so light it almost floated off the plate !!! The fish was fresh that day and the batter was crisp, thin , tasty and delicious . We returned the next night holding our breath .... could chef possibly deliver again ?? YES . YES . YES! Wonderful place , easy going with great food and wonderful Sunsets .
Visited the Castle in Little Haven over the CV19 August Bank Holiday weekend and enjoyed a lovely meal which was good value and did not disappoint. The venue was very busy but staff were polite and attentive. The menu offered a good range of options and portion size and quality were excellent. I would highly recommend if youre looking for good quality pub food.
