What an incredible find on a quick stop to see MacClennan Castle. The food was truly amazing! It was a perfect combination of local food and flavours. I found this quaint little Castle bistro simply delicious! The atmosphere was very inviting and staff were extremely friendly and professional. The owner and Chef came into the dinning room and ensured that everything was exactly to our liking. What a wonderful surprise, instantly one of my Top 5 restaurants to visit!
We have just had a takeaway dish from here and it was totally delicious. The pizza was divine and my vegeterian pasta dish was so fresh tasting and tasty. Do not hesitate to grab a takeaway. I only wish we were staying in Kirkcudbright longer as I would love to dine in! We will be back!
Excellent. We booked in advance and were offered an extra choice of vegan dishes by the chef. The food was superb, both vegan and non-vegan. Friendly attentive staff. Wholeheartedly recommended.
What can I say.........EXCELLENT. The Owner/Chef, Paul made our special 50th Birthday celebratory evening one to remember with his fantastic food and warm friendly manner. Can't rate this place enough. Thanks Paul.
