A lovely pub to sit outside and have lunch. The proprietor Josie is friendly, efficient and fun. The staff are also great. You are made to feel more welcome by the cat Crumpet. The food is excellent, particularly if you enjoy a good proper authentic curry. The portions are really good and the price is good too. Well worth a visit particularly if the sun is shining.

Excellent home made roast dinner, always busy on Sunday lunch so booking recommended. Have always found the staff to be friendly, landlord is a bit eccentric, but adds to the quirkiness! Good place for a quick pint or a more leisurely at up with friends.
