We saw The Castle are now offering a take away service during lockdown so decided to give it a go. So glad we did! The beef and ale pie with all the usual trimmings was absolutely superb. Cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The service was friendly and the food prepared for the time agreed. Could not have been better! Well done to all the team!

Popped into the Castle Inn and found a spot outside and under a shade fantastic. Great pint of cold John Smith's and Amstel. Bar food was excellent, gammon and two eggs can not whack it absolutely delicious the battered had was just as good. Fantastic staff very welcoming and friendly and not overly attentive.....
Excellent service great atmosphere and absolutely fantastic food
Visited the Castle Inn today. Felt very safe. Table service only but the staff were great with no delay in getting served. We have been here many times and have always been made welcome. Good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Nice sitting out area. Well worth a visit.
We sat outside on a sunny day and has a beer. The beer was good but the service was slow. Can't comment on the pub itself.
