Amazingly friendly staff and a good selection of beers on tap. We just had the panini with chips and salad but it was all very good.

Cosy restaurant/bar in Jedburgh that offers good value meals. We liked the taste of the items we had ordered. We went on a midweek during a quiet late afternoon and service was reasonably quick. Serving staff was friendly.

I had my father's wake here recently... Nothing was too much trouble for the limited staff due to covid19. Lovely buffet, private room, excellent service. It made for a lovely end to a sad day

This summer I went to Jedburgh for the first time (I’m from the United States) and my mother and I stopped here as it was one of the only places open serving food. We go in. We are seated, but the hostess gave us a bit of a weird look and abruptly left. We waited here for over 20 minutes and no one served us. No one looked in our direction. Not one of the staff was friendly to us, but eagerly seated locals who came in after us and waited on them immediately. I don’t leave a negative review lightly. Jedburgh is a bit of a tourist town. Yes we were tourists, it’s not uncommon when you’re literally across the street from a couple major landmarks for tourists to visit your establishment. Going in you could feel that they were treating us differently from the local guests, and it was a terrible experience. We left after being refused service and it was such a terrible experience. We were nicely dressed and groomed, we were polite, we didn’t do anything to be treated this way and still I felt embarrassed. I looked on a few review sites after and noticed we were not the only Tourists to experience this at this restaurant. I would never recommend and highly recommend the management speaks with the staff on their treatment of their customers.
