Couldn't fault the meal for quality, presentation or flavour. The best value for money I've had for a long time. Lovely service and welcome too. Empty plates all round.
Absolutely amazing best food had in years, my son has medical problems and also feeding issues and very limited on what he will eat. In his life never known him eat and try as much as he has on my plate from my roast and he happily ate it. Go have a meal you will not be disappointed
Often come here with the in laws for the Sunday carvery. Food is always fantastic. Cost of the carvery also includes a pudding, so always good value. If you want to go for the carvery, best to book in advance
It's not a gastro pub, wine bar or 'eatery', just a good spit n sawdust village pub with a big telly for the sports and ordinary pub grub. Nice theme of local history. They even had free sausage and chips on for the England - Belgium game!
