Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Great food and beer. I have been visiting the Carps for 50 years. Except for short blip when someone tried to turn it into a gastro pub! Thanks goodness back to its old brilliant self.

Lovely village pub with a great selection of cider. We stopped by for a drink after hiking in the Dartmoor National Park as we were staying a short drive away. I wish we had booked in for dinner as the menu looked great! The owners were very friendly and it had a great vibe!

Very warm welcoming friendly local pub. Richards steak and Ale pie was the best we had ever had . Well worth a visit. Thank you again
