Had a few days away in Cornwall and this place was recommended in the guest book in our accommodation. It did not disappoint. Really nice staff, good menu and good attention to covid regs. Food was amazing. Steaks cooked to perfection and the chips and onion rings the best I've eaten.

Really cozy local pub. The staff members were amazing and very caring.
We decided to try somewhere new to eat as a family and a friend recommended the carpenters we were not disappointed the food was delicious the steak was cooked perfectly i have seen they have pizzas on mondays will definitely be back to try them. Highly recommended.
Good real ale, super fish and chips, really light batter, only tried the small fish as this was plenty, the large fish was like a whale. Friendly and helpful staff
Lovely little Cornish pub, we were served by a lovely lady called Sam who made our visit wonderful. She was friendly, helpful and funny. Thanks Sam! We will be back
