Use to be a great real ale pub but only 2 beers on from national brewerys one owned by Hong Kong and one by USA, even though lots of local breweries around, also food on the special of the day menu was lamb burger i ask you.
Very warm welcome by staff & customers. Beautiful pint of beer after a 12 mile walk.
Cosy historic pub that hasn't changed I the last 30 years that we have used it. Probably hasn't changed much in hundreds of years! Low ceilings, open fire, real ale; what more could you ask for on a winter's day!
Very friendly local pub. Very good range of new items on the food menu. Great range of drinks. Well worth a visit
