The California Traditional Fish & Chips

Without a doubt the best fish and chip shop in the whole area. Not sure about the chip comment below (they must eat huge individual portions of chips in their house ) as everytime I go in the portions are very generous (a small chips feeds two people) Staff are really friendly, great family run business! Prices are really reasonable too.

Delivered on time, hot and very tasty. The best fish and chips (and curry sauce ) that we can ever remember eating. We've found our new Fish and chip shop ten out of ten. Thank you

I'm not going to lie I was left absolutely shocked! So lived in Sutton for last 5 years and been to majority of chip shops that all have tasty chips and reasonable prices with reasonable portions. So tried this one in Belmont. I asked for a large chips which is 3.50! Yes wow! So on the menu there are 3 options. Small Regular and Large. Considering chip shops usually only do regular or large and large usually around 2.50 - 3 I was expecting a bulging bag of chips. Oh no I was left gobsmacked! The bag was in my eyes a regular so wouldn't want to see what a small looks like. To be fair they are good chips but portion size for the price is a no go. I wont be going there again. To feed a family of 4 with their large chips you'd have to buy 2 at 7!!!!!!!
