Fun,quirky decor. Fabulous cakes. Good choice of tea, coffee and milkshake. The staff are friendly and helpful. Quite a good menu for hot and cold food as well. You can sit outside at tables, ( still under cover as it's in the Craven Court).

My son has been shielded since early lockdown when we found out he required a second major surgical procedure at AlderHey. He underwent an 11 hour procedure involving a huge team of medical experts in October. So when it came to his 3rd birthday in December we knew we had to make the most of it. All he wanted was a dinosaur cake but we couldn’t find anything in the general shops that resembled what he saw as a big scary dinosaur. We knew the Cake’Ole in Skipton make stunning cakes but they hadn’t really done dinosaur cakes. They went out of their way to give him an amazing cake, light fluffy red sponge , melted chocolate and mint buttercream with a fantastic roaring dinosaur toy on top and jungle themed decor with chocolates and mint matchsticks for trees . I wish I knew how to add a picture of him with his cake. You really made his birthday and the cake was delicious. Thank you so much Cake ‘Ole.

Fabulous, quirky, cafe filled with a plethora of odd 'things', like a moosehead wearing shades and a pink rhino with a moustache. THE best hot chocolates ever and some serious cakes. Plenty for kids and adults alike.

Very friendly efficient service. Cakes always taste so good. My daughter got a panini this time which was delicious. Excellent decor and very clean during covid pandemic.
