Delicious cake and friendly staff. Was lovely to have a moment of calm here after a busy day wandering the streets of York
Friendly service, nice tea. No mobiles and no children. If you don't like it, choose somewhere else. If you appreciate the break from prams and second-hand conversations pop in.
Great food but a tad pricey, very small but pleasant tea rooms I'm willing to bet it gets very crowded quickly. Be aware they have a no children policy and within the shop all phones must be on silent and if you wish to use it you have to go outside. Speaking of outside there are 2 tables with 2 chairs per table so the outdoor seating is there, but very limited. Still glad we came as we had a cracking coffee and cream tea.
Called here today for coffee and cake and it was excellent. The staff were friendly polite and helpful and the cakes were amazing. Highly recommend will definitely be calling in again.
