Good dog walking with responsible people clearing up after their dogs. Not always so with the Summer visitors. Area well maintained by the council.
I LOVE the Byes. As soon as my Partner and I arrive for a stay in Sidmouth we unpack and head out to this lovely, extensive park! As with any dog walking area (I don't have a dog) you will need to keep an eye out for dog mess unfortunately but please do not miss out on a walk here! It starts off with varying footpaths and cycle paths alongside a river and then goes into meadows - some of which are teaming with beautiful wild flowers! There is lots of wildlife to see too.
At times very difficult to pass socially distancing as so many people and dog walkers use it. It is a shared use path for cyclists and pedestrians but off lead dogs can be a hazard to both.
