What an amazing experience - the best pub food I've ever had combined with superb views at sunset over the River Orwell. The staff were knowledgeable, kind and highly efficient. Thank you for finding a table for me and my dog even though fully booked. Very much hope to visit again and strongly recommend. Please don't change anything, especially your chefs...! ;)

Love this place, get there early as parking in main car park limited but worth it. Had coffee when we got there. Went for a walk and then came back for something to eat. First rate, 100%

Nice location by the River Orwell , Currently being kept nice and clean owing to the current pandemic. Good safely procedures in place. Food was good and a reasonable price, small car park behind the pud very handy if you are going for a meal as the local car park can get full which is always busy if the weather is nice Will i return certainly.

Efficient service for outdoor seating areas and felt suitably bio-secure. Good fish and chips and beer - and great views across the estuary. Wheelchair accessible. Outdoor seating may not always be so comfortable as the late summer evening we visited. Drinks in light weight plastic cups turn out to be a bit of a hazard on a windy day though.

Im now 30 years old and ive been coming here every year since as long as i can remember. The service throughout the years has remained exceptionally friendly and easy going. The pub is old with a nodern touch. Beautiful views of the Orwell, and its dog and child friendly. Easily accessible for buggy and wheelchair users. The food has always been fresh and tastey even throughout the covid19 period.
