Absolutely lovely Sunday Roast! Such wonderful members of staff - hard working and gave fantastic service! The Butlers arms have a fantastic set up - the decor, the style and atmosphere was spot on for us! We will be back!

Cracking pub. We come here a lot. The staff are so good and lovely and I always feel really looked after. Great food menu (the cheese pie is the best I’ve had and then Sunday roast is super) and fantastic drink selection. The cocktails are just delicious. We sometimes take our dogs here and they’re always well looked after. Super clean pub that’s taken Covid precautions very seriously indeed.
The setting here is very peaceful with a nice outdoor terrace area perfect for a sunny day and the staff are so friendly. The menu itself is very large with plenty of vegan options including a bbq jackfruit burger. The only criticism is that the small dishes deal doesn't always work out cheaper, however, the great cocktails make up for that!!
Me & hubby have just had an \Eat out to Help out\ meal tonight. Very professional Covid precautions taken. Hubby had the Rib eye steak, and I had the Fried chicken. Everything we had was excellently cooked & very tasty, good portion size too, and ... proper chips!! The young staff were very pleasant, attentive & helpful. We last came to the Butlers Arms over 30 years ago, so tonight was our first since then. We will certainly not leave it that long before our next visit. We highly recommend a visit the Butlers Arms.
Five stars for the venue, the food and staff. One star for the weather! Was really looking forward to sitting in the fantastic outdoor terrace area. Maybe next time! Wonderful place and whilst this isn't my local pub it is well worth making the effort to visit. A real hidden gem. Worth also noting the subtle, yet effective alterations made in line with current Covid rules which did not inhibit or adversely affect our visit at all. Really well done to everyone involved in implementing and delivering the new approach. Will definitely be back.
