This was my birthday lunch, had found it on Google the night before and after somewhere else was closed were got very lucky to end up here after a walk through the perfect. Picking from the set lunch menu with the steak fries supplement and we choose very well. What an amazing steak. Cooked perfectly. The garlic butter on top was perfect. Mopped up by the chips. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert and a great view. Can't ask for more.

Great steaks and generous enough portions. We visited during EOTHO on a Tuesday lunch so was busy. We overheard a few people who had the wrong steaks brought out but no complaints from the food and service we had! I would only say that the warm loaf should come out sliced. Resulted in crumbs all over the table but not work taking a star away for that.

I was tempted by the set menu but then decided to go for the 35 day dry ages cote de boufe. It was very delicious. It's not exactly cheap but it was a very nice cut of beef. I enjoyed chewing the meat off the bone. The bread was served warm and was very good. I ate too much and it made me feel very full at the end.

Was fully booked indoors but on a spring evening we sat outside with views of Glasgow University and Kelvin grove park. Service very welcoming and excellent food. Soft shell crab and oysters starters. Rump and T-bone cooked to medium (properly). The cucumber Collins was refreshing

The bread for the table was okay. It had to be cut by yourself and was very crusty which made a bit of a mess. It should've come with a bit more butter, but really we could have asked for more. Probably the best steak I've ever had (Chateaubriand) and also had an excellent Scotch egg made with black pudding to start which I would absolutely recommend. Overall the meal wasn't cheap (including wine), but the quality more than made up for the price.
