Lovely old,low beamed pub/ restaurant in the middle of the countryside. The food was perfect and well presented. In fact it was so tempting that I forgot to take pictures til we were half way through our meal! We all had different meals, ox cheek ,venison, pie, burger and battered fish, all of which were excellent. The ox cheek just melted in the mouth. The desserts were scrumptious and of decent size and the price tag was reasonable. Definitely deserves a second visit!

From the moment you walk in to The Butchers Arms you are made to feel welcome. The food is out of this world. We will be back.
Really warm and personable welcome from Carl and the waiting staff accompanied by great food. Best starters we've had in a long time, cauliflower fritters and black pudding stack. Really large servings so should have ordered less!!! If we were staying longer we'd definitely go back.
Friendliness is a must and this was shown from the moment we walked in the door. Food, Amazing come hungry as the portions are huge and the quality amazing a definitely worth a visit real local pub and amazing service
After my father and brother in law recommended went 1st nov to try Starters Sunday roast and desserts all 5star blew away by how much pride is taken put in to the food and making you feel welcome they was great with the toddlers can't wait to revist will be booking again
