I have been a member of The Business Community in St Albans since 2016. It is a wonderfully supportive and collaborative community. The St Albans Business Community is a fabulous network of local businesses who work together to support each other and share tips and advice. It is unlike any other networking group I have ever been a member of! The group is run by local business owner Sue and she always has something new up her sleeve for us to get involved in. The group is very friendly and welcoming and if you have never done any networking before you will be offered a warm welcome. The membership offers a wide range of benefits, as well as a website where you can share your business news and events. The team will also share them on social media to help you to gain maximum exposure. This is a fun and friendly group - thank you Sue and everyone who is involved in running it!
I was one of the first to sign up when this community began because I am a great believer in the power of local presence. Business is tough we all need support in our local area. Sue and her team work very hard and have come up with an array of initiatives from a great websitte to events, awards, biz com magazine, co working days and lots of support for local charities. You get out what you put in. We have attended events, sponosred events,advertised in the magazine and even have a Whoo Hoo award! We have gained new clients and more awareness of our business and used the services of others. This is the new 'yellow pages' but much more fun!
