Had a lovely meal here with the family this evening. There was a calm, relaxed atmosphere, the food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Will definitely be returning soon!

Firstly not Covid safe! Huge party of about 6 tables for a child's birthday party. Pretty sure that's bending tge rules. I had booked a table but when I arrived it wasn't ready. She quickly wiped it and then called us through. Again I'm not sure that is guidelines. We walked into the restaurant to be greeted by a finer complaining that they hadn't had their food after 2 hours and we were left standing there whilst the waitress involved herself in the conversation. I was made to feel very uncomfortable and as though I was an inconvenience just being a table of 2. I eventually managed to get the waiters attention after the waitress had walked off (didn't tell us which table we were at) and after he had spoken to the other diner about how long their food would be finally said \sit there\ the atmosphere wasn't comfortable and was noisy. Whilst I have no issue with parties normally I did think this was selfish as so many people are suffering in various ways because of COVID. When she eventually came over to us to take a drink order I was told most items on the menu were sold out! I decided to leave and then had to walk through the large party with children playing (not doing any wrong) on the floor in the exit doorway. An absolute shambles. Will not be returning any time soon and will not be recommending to anyone!
Tried a meal at The Bull for the first time.....the sweet chilli sauce with the king prawns was delicious, the shepherd's pie was scrumptious, the chantilly cream in the banoffee pavlova was divine and Rachel & Adam were the perfect attentive team
Great pub excellent food and great community support
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food of good standard, albeit a touch pricy, but will definitely go again
