Food was exceptional. Everyone enjoyed every bit of their meal - a friend even wanted a recipe for the Dripping Sauce! COVID secure and felt very safe. Place was spotless. Service was fantastic too. Our server was amazing. Service was seamless with a personality to match. Felt like we had made a friend by the time we had left!

As the helpful sign says, this is the Centre of England, and lovely for it. Good Covid compliance from helpful staff. We just had drinks in the garden (shade if you need it) plus great, if expensive, chips while our 2 families played cards and took photos in the grounds. Lovely surrounding area for walks (see pics) that end with a pint at the pub.
Arrived at lunchtime and had a marvellous light meal, just starters as we were staying the night and having dinner in the evening. Excellent service and food. The evening dinner did not disappoint, the rack of lamb was sublime. The service out of this world, the staff were all so helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely and breakfast the next morning was outstanding. Covid-19 regulations were observed throughout and made our visit feel very safe and relaxed.
Excellent! afternoon lunch. We pre booked and were given an inside table but we were some distance from the next table. We had the Artisan bread & olives to start followed by Stir fried beef salad then crumble and custard. Really enjoyed the meal with the only disappointment being the bread (Nochellara olives - brilliant). Our expectation was for chunks of fresh breads to dip in oils. Thinly cut toasted slices just did not match up. But, atmosphere and service 1st class. Would gladly return.
Great food and atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed my rack of lamb last night. Thank you guys.
