I used to work here, kitchen looks like Ed Gene has set up shop in there, haven't been recently and I've heard they have new management, however the pub is visually depressing, looks like the set of coronation street from 1959. The gins are lack luster and I'm pretty sure if I ever went in alone I'd have a 99% chance of a 67 year old prince andrew sympathiser try and get me in his white van. Wouldnt reccomend to my worst enemy; I'd have more fun rebuilding the pyramids of Giza with a broken leg. 0/10

Decent pub right in the centre of Congleton with a good selection of craft beers on tap to sample while you watch some sports from Sky & BT. The bar is festooned with the pull handle ales from the casks below and it looks very nice indeed. There is an amazing amount of cold drinks available including wines, soft drinks and ciders. Good atmosphere inside with plenty of seating to choose from. Staff are friendly and happy to have a chat
Lovely friendly pub, felt really safe in there because they were following all the COVID guidelines and the doorstaff were really nice the night I was there.
Spot on...Great service as usual.
Great all round, friendly team, fair prices and a good pint.... after a couple more visits I've decided to make it my new local.....
