Eating here is like going back in time!! Amazing service, even silver service and a sweet trolley! Food was more suited to the older clientele (soft veg) but was still very nice. The kind of place you take your Nan when you want a nice Christmas present!

A really interesting place, it's a French place and if you have wandered off the street you might wander where you are. In saying that, the staff are all really lovely and helpful. The food was quite tasty, the meat was cooked nicely and well seasoned. The bernaise sauce went nicely with the steaks as well. The veges were quite plain, however the cheesy sauce that it came with helped. The overall atmosphere of the place feels quite classy.
Great place - menu straight out of the 1970s Cordon Blu era but very well cooked and tastes great. I guess in this instance its the old addage of \if it ain't broke don't fix it\. Would happily come back here again if it wasn't so far from home.
Service and food quality 5 stars as per every visit I have made here.
A lovely meal, I had the fillet poivre and my wife chose a fillet with dijon mustard. Both were cooked to perfection. It was like stepping back in time, with table cloths, and old fashioned good attentive service. Quaint but good. In this time of covid we appreciated the space between tables.
