Stopped in a few years ago and I was just thinking about how good the food was again. It was one of the only places open in the area as late as we were that evening. The food was delicious. I remember that I had something I would not have normally ordered and I was blown away. The desert was delicious as well. The ambiance was great! I would highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.
Love this pub, the food was some of the best food we've had, the fish and chips was incredible and the best sticky toffee pudding ever! We sat outside and the waitress was so lovely coming out in the freezing and was so friendly and knew so much about the wine! Definitely be back
My friend, and regular of the Bull and Last, has been telling me to try the Sunday roast here for months. I have a really high bar when it comes to a roast, and having had so many bad ones over the years, I am always dubious about somewhere new. I had no need to be worried, the roasts were delicious! The beef melted in the mouth, the Yorkshire's were big enough to take a bath in, and the veg and gravy were super tasty, really flavorful. This place is closing for renovation soon, so get in there quick!
