Truly outstanding course. Superb layout, a fair challenge with fabulous definition due to well placed bunkers and features enhancing the greens. The Greens themselves are probably the best I’ve played on, running at 9 1/2 and again are very fair in that you get what you putt they are outstanding. Fairways are a joy to walk on and provide a great platform for approach shots and the whole course makes you think your way round. Tees are also just perfect. The facilities, clubhouse, driving range, practice greens are top notch and the whole course is a credit to head green keeper Neil Hogg & his team.

Considering how busy the course has been and the volume of rain, it was presented in great condition. Much better than other parkland courses in Edinburgh
Definitely one of the best in the Lothians (and therefore anywhere) but you'd better not be poor...
