Great food, amazingly friendly staff and felt very safe with the current measures in place to protect customers from covid-19. What's not to love! I will definitely be back!

We were staying nearby and chose The Bruce Arms for a meal. There were 3 of us. When we arrived the place was heaving and there was only one table in the bar, which we used. Our drinks and food order were quickly taken, and within what seemed like a short space of time, delivered to our table. We were served by a young girl who was just lovely. We were not disappointment, the food was delicious. A great experience from beginning to end. The lady who I think was in charge was really friendly and chatty and explained the busyness was due to the 'bad mum's club' ....lovely meal, lovely people, we'll be back.
We were made to feel very welcome at the Bruce. The food is excellent too. They have a marquee out the front which is lovely in these strange times. Covid sure can kill an atmosphere but not here. The food is excellent too. I wish we lived more local to this place as I would definitely be a regular.
Had a meal here and was impressed with the staff who were very helpful and attentive. The tables inside were spaced according to Covid 19 protocols with perspex screens between all the tables. Food was piping hot and tasty. We will return.
Great place. Fantastic fish and chips with a pint of local beer.
