Great little Village Pub, that serves excellent food at very good prices. Good real ale selection also, with three on tap. Friendly staff, will definitely visit again. The photos were taken when we visited again on the 1st December 2018. Everything about this place is good, we really love it here.
Really nice pork belly - big portion and nicely cooked. we only shared it but glad we did as would have been stuffed otherwise! Pretty good Covid cleaning in place although no one-way system. Would definitely recommend.
We ate at this venue as the menu was varied and interesting. Sadly, the experience did not live up to our expectations. Few precautions had been put in place to safeguard guests from COVID-19. The tables were crammed together, very little separation, the staff weren't wearing masks and we saw little evidence of cleaning tables and chairs between sittings. The food was disappointing; we chose breast of duck which was tough to the extent of needing a steak knife to cut it and the garnish little better. We decided on this evidence not to risk a dessert but to leave ASAP.
Lovely local pub for Washbrook, wonderful staff and amazing food! Also good beer to be found here!
