Extremely disappointed with what was once my favorite location. Lately, the food has been old and the staff seem careless. I was there recently and they completely missed one of three orders. Today I ordered half a chicken with rice and beans as stated on the seamless app for delivery. When it arrives the chicken is cold and tasted like it had sat there for hours, not only that there was no rice and beans just the chicken. When I call, the woman states that only the chicken appears on the receipt and that \it must be an app error\. You would think that someone who regularly patronized this establishment would be compensated for the error. I believe they will lose more without my business rather than just parting with rice and beans. I'm not buying here anymore. They've really dropped the ball recently on numerous occasions and they showed no concern for their regular customer. Though I'm sure they won't falter (they've been there for a long time) I will just have to patronize another establishment that actually values their customers.

This is one of my 2 favorite Puerto Rican eateries. La lsla has a few surprises for you, like SpARE RIBS or their (lasonga) made with be plantin? My FAVORITE is the fried pork, 12 a pound.

Great food, if you eat in it's at a counter, no tables and no air conditioning. Friendly staff, service is ok, lots of takeout customers. Large portions, no alcohol, tres leches was great.
The place is not air conditioned & they are lacking good customer svc it took us like 15 mins before anyone came to take our oder & it wasnt busy
