Lovely rustic looking cafe within the main shopping street of Totnes. Totnes itself is centuries old and this reflects in the buildings. I stopped at this little cafe because I liked the look of it. And the menu was not one that was big which I like. Some are so big in the food they sell it can confuse you. I ordered a ploughmans lunch. And to be honest it was slightly different to normal. But I must say it worked for me. And I really enjoyed it. It's not a large cafe and has limited seating. For me this works as you don't wait long for your food. The staff were pleasant and they seemed quite happy working there. This gives it a pleasant and cheerful atmosphere. All in all I would give it a try. I don't think you will be disappointed

Food excellent, value for money, service excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. They only flat I could find was the cutlery is of very poor quality but this didn't spoil my experience eating there
Small and a bit rustic but great bacon and sausage sandwiches yum
