This is a lovely pub with lovely views of the River in Shoreham!! The staff are helpful and friendly and u buy your drinks then they come and serve you at your table! We had the Chicken and Pesto Sourdough bread sandwiches with chips, they were very nice and filling! The atmosphere is relaxed and happy!
If you just want to sit outside for a drink it's fine. Service inside is terrible, as we had to wait too long to get anyone's attention for another drink or to order a dessert. The roast was warm and the beef very chewy. We asked if we could just have the ice cream that accompanied a 6 dessert, and were charged 5.50 for one tiny scoop. How can you justify that? Will not be back.
We had dinner in a beach hut outside on the terrace. Food was lovely and a big thank you to our waiter Jack who ran back and forward in the rain
We have enjoyed eating at the bridge for many years. Imogen ran a well organised ship. Sadly last weekend we went in the have lunch and the gas supply was out. So we came back last night for the launch of the new menu and they lost our order completely and we got no food. So we went to the kebab shop. Need to improve your service....
