The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pub has changed from its normal tapas menu to pub classics due to c19. The house merlot was lovely. The other half had the special chicken burger which was really nice. I had the pie chips and peas were great the pie was ok but it did feel like a chip shop pie. Great service and great prices really a main is about 10. All in all we would definitely return.
Stopped by for lunch and sat in the lovely garden by the river. Because of Covid-19 they are still running on a limited menu which had enough to choose from despite this. My husband and I both had the bacon cheese burger served with slaw and chips. I have to say the burger was the best I've had in a very long time and the service was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend
Stopped by for a quick snack (chips and onion rings) and unfortunately our order didn't get passed on to the kitchen so we ended up waiting an hour. However, the food that did eventually arrive was very tasty and the staff were very apologetic :)
Classy country pub, like the interior with open fire and separate eating areas. Tasty, reasonably priced food really nice presentation. Friendly staff. Alogether a lovely lunchtime experience and would definitely go back
