First outing after lockdown and I almost wish I didn't bother. I wish I could start this review on a happier note. I don't know how you can even eat the food from here? I don't want to go into detail but let me tell you, don't bother. The garden and tables look like they need a powerwash, same for the cobwebs decorating the outside. I do understand the challenges with outdoor seating but someone could definitely clean those. I'm giving it a 2 because it does look good from the bridge. Here's a tip, get some beverages and food, sit opposite and save some time.

Friday lunch in Covid days. Really strict rules keeping. One direction of moving within the restaurant. Names and phones are being taken. Sanitising station at the entrance etc. Good service and reasonably good food choice. Most important is the view from the balcony. We'll worth the visit.
Excellent selection of drinks and food. Spent lovely time there
Really good service. We have been here a few times during our week camping nearby and Lee and Ella (who mainly sorted out our tables and took and brought out drinks orders) worked tirelessly and had a smile on their faces all the time we were there, as did all the people that worked there (but I don't know their names). Good location too although you do get traffic noise if you have a table near the road, but to be fair it didn't put us off. We've only ever had portions of chips so cant comment on fuller menu food other than it did look plentiful and smelt pretty good. We will be back.
Polite, friendly staff. Social distancing and track and trace observed. Food pub style. Sadly we didn't get to sit by the river as that area was closed. We did enjoy the elderflower gin fizz cocktail. St Neots proved to be a bit of a gem of a place for the girly weekend and this was a good starting point for the evening.
