Visited on 12 December 2019 A nice little 'locals' pub but welcoming to out of towners. Don't expect an array of craft beers, but alongside the generic fizz they have Greene King IPA (pass) and Timothy Taylor Landlord, which was delicious and only 2.80 a pint...we're not in shoreditch anymore Toto! Clean pub and clean gents toilets and there appeared to be a heated back garden area for smokers. If I found myself in the area again I'd pay another visit.

Recently had a refit, great idea. Good pub friendly service. Lovely courtyard put the back which is extremely popular around the weekend. Don't know if they do food but I would certainly like to try on my next visit if they do. Reasonable prices good beer. Suitable for all ages. Close to town centre. Good character and atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you come to Brentwood
