Lovely little find. Myself and my partner stumbled across this place by accident and initially entered only for a few drinks, however upon ordering our drinks (from a great drinks menu) and having a really warm and welcoming feel to the place we asked to see the food menu. We read through the said menu and realised that the food being served here was really quite something and for a reasonable price too so we stayed and had food. The food was fantastic, the type of food you get in fine dining restaurants. The staff were really good too, their service was top notch. Highly recommended, would definitely visit again

Lovely little find on our first visit to Chester. Beautiful building steeped in history. Very good range of beers & ales. Very welcoming staff and friendly service. Limited menu, but well executed. What we had was very nice.
probably the best pub for a decent pint and food in Chester. menu is interesting, varied, and always changing. had lunch today and the soup was delicious
Food was amazing very reasonably priced . Stunning place .drinks menu and prices great. Can't wait to go back.staff lovely .
