Rang for a booking at short notice but were full. They rang back 2 minutes later with the offer of a late cancellation. Vegan pies available and when we had ordered the chef asked if we wanted a starter of wild and field mushrooms with chili. We did and it was delicious. Service was great and food fantastic. Highly recommend certainly for vegans.

Fantastic! Ordered takeaway Sunday roast today, great service, wonderful food, had the pork belly which was perfectly cooked snd came with all the trimmings! Highly recommended!

Great place! Very friendly staff, interesting war time decor. This place will draw you in with the interesting, quirky, warn but warm feel. And will keep you in with the nice atmopshere, friendly staff and great selection of drinks. Haven't eaten here... yet, but the menu looks good and the kitchen looked clean from what I could see which is always a good thing! They did say if you book in advance (give them a couple days) they will make something for even the most difficult to cater like a vegan with a nut allergy. Defenatly well worth going!
