Four of us booked for afternoon tea. Probably the worst afternoon tea we've ever had. Savoury was 10 very small sandwiches with cheese pickle, egg mayo, cheese onion. So just over 2 each! Then there were the scones! Again an odd number of 6 for 4 of us! Also they were not scones - more like half cooked muffins. We complained and they had to go to the local bakery for some real scones. They eventually came back with 8! We had these with cream - squirty cream the only option! By this point we really couldn't face the cakes. These were mostly sponge! We craved savoury! BTW no tea was offered as part of the afternoon tea - this was an extra charge!! Very disappointing

Friendly staff, cosy place and delicious food. The nachos and the hamburguer were simply amazing but If I have to say that my favourite dish of the night was this brownie! Yeah, it's under the raspberries, the chocolate syrup, the cream and the ice-cream. OMG!

Cosy, warm atmosphere. Ate here few times always enjoyed. Friendly staff, not overly priced menu. Small seating area which adds to the ambience, lovely coal fire. If I'm ever in the area I would dine here again

Great atmosphere, decent choice of beer and very decent pub food using local butchers, bakers and suppliers.
