Good food ,great service and reasonable prices. Both of us had a hanging kebab which were superb but the star of the meal was the lemon tart. Reasonable prices and a good selection of drinks as well. Had a terrific family dinner. Will definitely call again. Well worth visiting. highly recommend

Came here with the wife children and mother for a treat in the afternoon and it was a great experience. Pre booking made things nice and simple and should be done at all times with Covid so not to be disappointed. Not only is it picturesque but the service was top draw considering all of the Covid restrictions taking place. Food was brought out in good time, drinks were brought to us straight away when asked and from the beginning to end it was a great afternoon. See you again soon!

The Botanist is a great place to visit, the visuals are great and the staff are helpful. The cocktails were quite inventive and interesting. It's not pictured but the cauliflower wings were fantastic. Coming from someone who hates cauliflower, they did very well to make these as tasty as they are!! We all enjoyed out mains. I had the salt and pepper pork which was quite hard on the outside, but very soft on the inside, it was very tasty. The only downsides for me were how long we had to wait for both our main and dessert (45-50 mins for main and about 20 for dessert) and the dessert was pretty disappointing. I had the crumble and it was incredibly dry, there was no juice coming out of the fruit at all which makes me feel like the fruit was precooked and had been put in the hot dish with the topping under the grill to warm it up. I couldn't finish it unfortunately, the ice-cream helped a little with the dryness but there wasn't enough to help with it. My friend was very happy with her sticky toffee pudding though!
