My husband and I ate here last night for my post birthday celebration and last supper before the next lock down, the food was cooked to perfection, scallops were amazing, beef brisket melted in one's mouth, the steak was fab, icing on the cake was a bottle of champers on ice awaiting our arrival courtesy of a good friend, which on tasting was delightful, all staff were very attentive and polite. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Can't wait to return, hopefully in the not too distant future.

Sunday lunch with my husband and son. As ever good quality food, flavoursome and well presented. Staff were pleasant; as were the surroundings. Lounge/bar area - very much in the style of a country Inn, smart gardens with plenty of seating, restaurant is nicely done and ideal for an occasion. Would recommend

Lovely food and atmosphere as always, props to the management and staff for making the venue covid friendly yet maintaining that cozy country pub feel. The only real downside was a waitress vocally airing her dirty laundry with a customer well within earshot of our table and others. The language used and aggressive manner was certainly not appropriate, especially with children nearby. This left a somewhat sour taste to an otherwise fantastic culinary experience.

Had a fabulous lunch there last week. Everything set up outside, plenty of room between the tables. The food here is always excellent and this time was no different. The halibut special really was outstanding. Service was very good as well and it always helps to have good weather and fine company to share it with.

Service, cleanliness and adherence to Covid-19 rules excellent. My mother had the baked haddock which was good. I had the chicken with mushroom tortellini which was tasty but could have been hotter and was not very filling. The desserts were good.
