Toilets are disgusting with remains of vomit. No hand dryer. All this whilst covid is active. I ordered a chicken Kiev which was huge , it came with hardly any veg. It had way too much garlic in....to the point where it made me I'll. Our friends meals of steak and a veg option were very nice. Waitress also got our bill wrong.

Boot Inn does the most amazing Sunday roast. We had the roast beef. It came with an excellent Yorkshire Pud and crisp roast potatoes. The vegetables were crisp and fresh. The Cauliflower Cheese was a great addition.
Good traditional pub grub, generous portions (chicken Kiev so big I had a garlic hangover next day). Pub itself had an olde worlde look with charm, a flaky painted sign and nice ambience inside, softly lit. Helpful staff; basic range of draught ales and lagers on tap.
Fantastic hidden gem of a place, limited but high quality menu, and food cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the boot for a good meal in a cosy atmosphere.
