I know it's been really difficult for pubs but to charge me 2.20 service charge when I was already paying 17.60 for 2 pints and some chips seems a trifle greedy. Which is a shame because staff and the location were very nice indeed. For the sake of clarity I paid everything without complaint but publicans take note. When punters feel they're being nickel and dimed they don't like it.

Lovely Sunday lunch out in the beer garden. All the food was delicious, and the social distancing and cleaning regulations the pub has in place is incredibly reassuring and instilled confidence that they're taking the current climate seriously! Highly recommend for food, drink and safety.
The restaurant was lively, the food really tasty and decent portion sizes.
Had the Sunday roast here and it was quite good! Not rubbery or dry in my opinion. Area was spacious and the staff constantly checked in on me to see if everything was alright. Would definitely come back again.
Food is exceptional and service is great. Definitely make a reservation before you turn up as this place is always packed. Great great portions and food. Must try!
