I love this place. We've been going there since it opened. I wish they did the little pots if cream for the American coffee. Food is made to order and considering the space they have to work with, they have a good choice. We'll need to take our own blanket this winter because of the corona virus. See you again soon!

Utterly unexpected amazing place. Quick service, really nice food and coffees for the price. Unbeatable views are free of charge.
I have visited The Boat House several times and the food and service has always been excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The sandwich menu is on separate plaques which hang next to the hatch, which is a nice touch, as it is easy to see what is still available. They can often be found open later than other cafes in Sandgate. Make use of the rocks provided on the tables, as it can get a bit windy and light items such as crisp packets and napkins will blow away!
Really lovely place to stop and have a drink and a bite to eat when walking along the promenade
Food and drinks here were very good, as was the service, we called in here on our 70 mile bike ride.
