The Blue Pantry

As a recent resident of Wellington, I was delighted that there was a package-free shop given that I had moved from a town ten times the size with no package-free shop! I have been using the Blue Pantry regularly through lockdown and their selection of produce is really excellent - including good range of dried herbs (and if you want to treat yourself, pick and mix). While I shop here regularly for pantry essentials, I have found some of the cleaning products to be hit and miss, for example one of the shower gels is very runny (almost like it is watered down) and one of the shampoos irritated my scalp. The food options however are great value!

This is honestly the most lovely shop. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming (even during these strange times). Nothing is too much trouble. Such a great produce selection - I can always pick up everything I need (and more) for such a reasonable price. I rave about this place to all my friends and family as it really is so lovely - and zero waste too, what's not to love?

Amazingly friendly and great variety for a small space. They are always adding new things and take into account what people say and want. Remarkably affordable too. Best shop in wellington.
