A nice place to visit. It has a bistro type cafe (the food is very good), post office, also a great place if you are looking for interesting gift ideas. Parking is good and you can eat in or outside. Recommended!

Fantastic place, never regret coming, but you don't want to go too often as the portions are massive! They bake their own bread and cakes — which are always delicious — making their sandwiches well above average. They also do a great cooked breakfast. The coffee is good, but nothing to write home about. Recently had their raspberry and caramel brownie and it was amazing, one of the best brownies I can remember. It's a great place for cyclists thanks to outdoor seating alongside triathlon-style bike rails and the aforementioned huge portions.

First visit but definitely not my last! Very well spaced out and socially distanced. The Knead Cafe has an excellent lunch menu. The Bacon, brie and cranberry ciabatta with side salad was large and tasty! Nice shop to browse and the Great Bardfield Garden centre has a great variety of well tended plants.

Lovely, open and attractive place to spend a few hours. Service was great, my baby Daughter and I managed to drop a cup of coffee and smash the mug on the floor, the staff came over straight away and cleared it up for me (sorry again ladies at The Blue Egg and thanks for your help!). Lovely café area, outdoor area and animals to see. Visited the shop that was ideal, more toys purchased for the little one. Will be back again with my husband soon! Highly recommended 5*

Good coffee, great cakes. Bike rack collapsed though. Needs sorting.
