Visited for the first time tonight as a family including 6 weeks old granddaughter. Wow! Really good food, wonderful and thoughtful staff. We will certainly go again and soon if we can manage it!

Came here to try out the new menu that the new owners have created and can only say wow. The food is INCREDIBLE. Duck spring rolls are amazing and not short of duck at all. The boar dog was exquisite and the Brownie for dessert with raspberry sorbet which was absolutely devine. Husband had the banana bread and that was also incredible. Can not fault the food at all. The staff were also wonderful. They new exactly what they were doing and you wouldn't be able to tell that it was a newly opened restaurant. We will absolutely be back.
I haven’t had food or service as good as what I had for dinner at The Blue Boar for a long time in Lowestoft... They had a fantastic menu with a mix of seasonal original dishes as well as robust pub classics. All of which were delicious. The portions were very generous but the quality was equally as good. The waiters were super friendly and very attentive, a real credit to this pub. Thanks for looking after us! The place itself is cosy and just a real nice place to be. Parking lot is large and the beer garden looked really nice.
First class service, great range of drinks and excellent locally sourced food. The fish was unbelievable! Highly recommended.
Fitted us in last minute and so glad we tried. Very friendly attentive staff, great pint and food was delicious. Butternut squash rissoto was very well cooked and seasoned perfectly. Homemade burger was one of the best burgers I've had with loads of well cooked fries a bowl of dressed salad and coleslaw. All in all very tasty and very filling, unfortunately no room for desert.....give it a try but make sure you book.
