This little gem in the picturesque Walton on the hill was a wonderful find. We went on a day with a target complex offering though, an outdoor BBQ pitch looked tempting but wasn't part of the main service so we had to pay cash and collect our food, which took several iterations to sort. Plenty of outdoor seating as shown and the restaurant inside looked upper end plush for gastropub. Swift service for a busy Sunday.
Went for a lovely afternoon lunch here. Atmosphere is relaxed and the decorations are unique and quirky. The menu has many amazing choices and is really great for vegan options. I had the vegan Fish and chips with all the traditional trimmings and it was lovely. Dog friendly and has a great big green area across the road for walking. Lovely place. I would say the portion size is slightly small for the price, how ever the environment and relaxed vibe made up for it.
Lovely pub to arrive at after an autumn walk through the woods. Breakfast could have been better but cosy and friendly welcome.
Lovely food and staff! Fish and chips were amazing. Have booked in for a Sunday lunch to test out their roasts.
