Delicious food, cooked to perfection. Some of the tastiest food I have ever eaten. The venison loin was amazing; winter on a plate. Dog friendly too.

Eaten at this lovely village pub a few times when visiting the area and never been disappointed. Always welcoming and the food is excellent. This time I enjoyed the Fowey Mussels and a Pear and Blackberry crumble to finish.
Great food, we had the Sunday lunch and the two vegetarians in our party were very impressed with the Nut roast option. The portion sizes were good. The desserts were very nice. Only issue was service was a little slow but given it was a busy bank holiday weekend it wasn't surprising. Would recommend.
Yet another perfect visit to this beautiful Pub. Exquisite food, 100% recommend the Beef Burger or the Moroccan Pulled Goat Kebab. Excellent Beers for the Ale drinkers to enjoy, hope you enjoy as much as i did (Night Owl is my recommendation) Please do pay this place a visit, recommend ringing to book as it gets busy despite the remote location. Thankyou to the very helpful and friendly staff as always, I look forward to my next visit.
Wonderful view from the garden. Well kept Tribute bitter beer and a good choice of excellent food. When the weather got cooler I felt perfectly safe indoors with wide spaces between the tables. Booking recommended whilst covid-19 is about.
