We are staying in the village for the week, so as always, had to try the local for Sunday lunch. It was the best lunch out we have had in ages! Good choice of meat, we had the chicken, yummy! Also the champion of all, a fabulous gravy, which they gave an extra boat full, and I could have drank it! The staff who looked after us were SO nice and friendly. This pub is a must if you love good food and a good pint. 5 stars we had a great afternoon and will be going back. X

Monday 24th September from dusk till dawn. We had a great night. Gordon says hi to his new dominoes friends. Thanks everyone for a very memorable evening. Thanks again to the wonderful young man who works behind the bar who sang a song for us at the end of the night . We will never forgot. Best wishes Allison and Gordon.
Booked a week in the cottage here with mum, kids and friends. Lovely dog friendly and very safe establishment with all staff welcoming and attentive. Perfect base to explore the area. Despite leaving early due to an accident we will absolutely book again when able. Think this will be our annual destination due to the amazing staff, food, drink and location. We would all strongly recommend this for all types of holiday whether couples, friend or families. It’s better than home from home! Tracy Bell Holiday 3/8/20
Friendly little pub. Homemade food that was limited range but good quality. Number of dogs in while we were visiting which was ideal. Cheap and cheerful.
Great little place. There is a friendly atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. We managed to get a table and spent the evening here having a drink. Not badly priced and the serve food as well.
