Warm welcome, good fresh food, good service. Prices are very good. I would have given them 5* but Covid Virus made a one star difference.

Very hospitable and well run pub. Made to feel very welcome and had a wonderful ham ploughmans and pint of Cider. Very good value. Will come again.
Excellent home cooked food at a very reasonable price. So nice to have proper vegetables as opposed to \chunky chips\ that have no flavour! Lovely friendly service.
Service WITHOUT a smile! Food was harder than Thor’s hammer gravy looked like it was drained from a transit engine. Waitress had the enthusiasm of a dead horse and when we said how bad it was she just said well nobody else has complained!! If you’re considering a meal here save some money get a tin of pedigree chum and bake for 3-6 weeks till it resembles a block of concrete.
Lovely country pub very rural. Staff friendly and food lamb chops were lovely.
