Stopped in here for a late lunch and what a gem. The service by Darren and his team was fantastic - so warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and well presented, what more could you ask for. Thank you for a lovely lunch!

We stopped in here for a bit b to eat after a long day of exploring the area. I was very surprised, this is not just a typical hotel pub. The staff were so friendly an helpful from the time we entered. I ordered the beef and ale pie which was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place if you're in town. Just now the kitchen closed at 8.30, so make sure you get on before then to avoid disappointment!

This place is definitely an hidden gem. We stayed for 3 nights and were looked after fantastically well. Protocol was followed and the ambience was lovely. We had amazing food and drink and the staff were like your friends. We would recommend you try it, we will be going back. Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasurable.
Cosy pub in the centre of the town. Plenty of self distancing signs and precautions so we all felt safe. They have a posh sandwich menu and a meal menu. We opted for fish pur and the steak and ale pie. Both came with fresh vegetables and both were delicious. The fish pie was full of fish and prawns. The steak and ale pie was full of meat and had a lovely crusty lid. Staff were all very friendly and efficient and food was served on good time. We would highly recommend having a meal here.
