Lovely meal this evening - menu is great and could have chosen happily from the whole thing! Food itself was perfect - nicely presented and spot on taste wise. Waitress was fab and just the right level of attentiveness with good knowledge of wines and beers on offer which is not easy now that table service is required. Very covid safe and felt really comfortable there. Log burner just adding to the cosy feel. First time here but we'll definitely be back - need to keep supporting businesses that are working so hard to keep going and somehow still managing to offer excellent experience and hospitality. Well done you guys.

This little place is a gem! Off the beaten track a little but we'll worth a visit. We booked a Sunday lunch and were reserved a table in a comfortable position. The dinner we chose was roast beef and came with roast potatoes, Yorkshire, broccoli, carrots, cauli cheese, cabbage and was delicious. We didn't have to wait long either which was good as we were famished. We also had deserts, again, very good indeed and I can personally recommend the salted caramel chocolate pot. The staff were polite and attentive and answered all our questions as 2 of us have special dietary requirements. Excellent service, prices very reasonable and we will certainly go back. Just visited for a birthday meal on a Monday lunchtime. We had some specific requests due to having our poorly dog with us and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. They even served a delicious homemade scotch egg for our dog. Covid measures were very well thought out. Good one way system and hand sanitiser stations throughout. Really looking forward the returning to try a Sunday lunch.
Beautiful country pub serving great food. The roast dinners and the burgers are divine. I had a burger with bacon and brie which i'll definitely go back and order again. Pleased I found this place. It's worth the drive!
Everything was AMAZING! My sister in law and her husband took us here for a lovely dinner and we LOVED everything we had from the main course, dessert, cider and coffee with whiskey. Just PERFECT and very friendly and lovely service. High recommended
