The most recent changes at the Black Horse, and in particular their ways of dealing with the Covid pandemic, have put it right up there as one of the best gastro pubs in Norwich. Every meal I've had there in the last couple of years has been amazing. We just had a veggie roast delivered (31.01.21) and it was INCREDIBLE. The meal had traveled far better than I expected, completely packaged in recyclable materials, and just top notch food.

My favourite pub in Norwich! The venue is gorgeously done. Staff are professional and all have good customer service skills, and they are being careful with social distancing measures. They have extended the 50% off discount so you can get an excellent meal for cheap!! The food is always delicious and pretty innovative.
What a roast. I don't think I have enough words to describe the amazing roast I have ate yesterday. It was sooo tasty, the pork was so tender, the veggie were perfectly cooked, and the gravy was spotless. The staff were very friendly and very attentive. You should give them a visit
One of the best pubs I've been to in Norwich. Huge outside space with shaded areas and lots tables. They have a ping pong table and jenga. Lovely bathrooms huge bar. Nice rustic atmosphere inside with leather seats. Takes card and good sharing platters. It also has a large car park which is incredibly useful for parking.
